Another Big Ten Offer For Bere

Cincinnati Sycamore linebacker Tinashe Bere is a top 2014 prospect in Ohio, and he recently landed his third offer, all from the Big Ten. Who is the latest to offer this hard-hitting linebacker?

Tinashe Bere has been turning heads since becoming a starter as a freshman at Cincinnati Sycamore, and college coaches have taken notice of his talents.

Bere, 6-foot-1, 215-pounds, recently landed his third offer and once again it came from the Big Ten. He earlier picked up offers from Illinois and Purdue.

"Iowa is my latest offer," Bere stated. "I wasn't able to make their junior day last week, and they called my coach asking about me. My coach suggested I call them and explain why I wasn't able to make it, and when I called they said they were offering me."

"The Iowa offer means a lot, and it's looking like I'm going to be playing my college football in the Big Ten which is great," Bere stated. "I like all three teams that have offered, and could see myself at any of the three schools to be honest. I don't know a lot about Iowa, and I wish I could have made that visit. The offer was a surprise, but I'm very happy about it."

"I have to say I'm in the early stages of recruiting, and I definitely need to see Purdue and Iowa, because I've been to Illinois already," he continued.

Other schools are in contact, and Bere has also been on many unofficial visits to date.

"I'm hearing from Duke and Boston College, and they would be two showing the most interest other than the ones that have offered," he admitted. "I plan on looking at every school that's interested in me, and I'm hoping for more offers."

"I'm looking for the school that I fit in best with their program," Bere said. "That will be the biggest factor for me, because this will be a place I will spend the next four years of my life. Education will also play a big part in my decision. I'm hoping to have this done before my senior season begins, but I have to see how things go."
