Dale Gets An Early Look At Cowboys
"I would say it went very, very well," said Cedric Dale. "I got to hang out with Coach (Jemal) Singleton and watch film with him, and meet the other coaches and some of the players. I got a tour of the facilities, which are nice. I liked it a lot." Dale is a talented player that missed a chunck of four games during the 2012 season, but still had hefty stats with 119 carries for 804 rushing yards with 12 touchdowns. He averaged 6.8 yards per carry, and Dale showed pass catching ability with 11 receptions for 140 yards and another touchdown. "I'm completely back (from the injury), and in fact I'm playing lacrosse right now," added Dale. "It's a district team, so there are four schools on one team. I play mid and attack (forward), and it's very physical. You are constantly running and it is really good for footwork (in football)." Dale said he received at least six Junior Day invites. He has a heavy schedule coming up with Baylor next weekend, SMU the weekend after that, and then trips scheduled to attend the junior events at Florida and Georgia. His schedule started with Oklahoma State this weekend. Some of the other Texans making the trip to OSU were Round Rock Westwood quarterback Bear Fenimore, Rockdale linebacker James David, and Round Rock McNeil defensive end Zach Vaughan.
