Robinson solid to LSU

Cornerback Rashard Robinson is now solid once again with the LSU Tigers, according to his head coach at Pompano Beach (Fla.) Ely.

There has been some talk that three-star cornerback prospect Rashard Robinson (Pompano Beach, Fla./Ely) may not stick with his Tiger commitment. He gave his pledge to LSU a while ago. Where does he currently stand?

"Rashard is 100% committed to LSU," said Charles Hafley, Ely's head coach. "He's been done. Rashard just wanted to see what his options were. He just knows that LSU is the best fit for him."

There has been much speculation that Robinson could stay home and sign with Miami. He made an official visit to the Hurricanes back in December.

Robinson, 6-foot-1 and 175-pounds, is one of the state's top defensive backs.
