Barber Visiting As AU Looks For Big Finish

Auburn is looking for a big finish in recruiting and has several unofficial visitors on hand this weekend along with a talented official visit list.

Auburn, Ala.—Auburn's running back pursuits continue into the last weekend of recruiting as three-star and Ole Miss commitment Peyton Barber traveled to the Plains for an official visit. A teammate of longtime Auburn commitment Carl Lawson, Barber is a physical back that had a strong senior season coming back from an injury-plagued junior year.

With offers from UCLA, Wisconsin, Florida State, Tennessee and several others in addition to Auburn, the 5-11, 222 Barber took official visits to Ole Miss, UCLA and Tennessee before his trip to Auburn this weekend.

As a senior he ran for 1,980 yards and scored 25 touchdowns for the Eagles while sharing time with standout junior back Treyvon Paulk.

Other visitors to Auburn this weekend include:

Reuben Foster

Carl Lawson

Elijah Daniel

Toby Johnson

Three-star offensive lineman Devondre Seymour visited Auburn on Friday and Saturday, but because of his school's football banquet he was headed home on Saturday afternoon. Seymour is a physically-talented offensive lineman that is also looking at North Carolina, and several more schools.

In addition to the official visitors on hand there are also several unofficial visitors in Auburn this weekend including commitments Cameron Toney, Tashawn Bower, Kamryn Melton and Earnest Robinson. All three are in town to help the Tigers finish off the 2013 class with a bang.
