Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure linebacker Dalton Rocha had to wait until the waning days of the recruiting procces to get his first offer.
It came at the tail end of his lone official visit, to New Mexico State.
But the All-CIF and All-County linebacker was invited by New Mexico State to take an official visit, without an offer.
By the time the visit was done, Rocha got an offer from the Aggies, and he jumped on it.
"Dalton committed to New Mexico State last night," said his father, David.
