Mississippi OL Commits To Warhawks

Warhawk Nation has learned that the ULM Warhawks picked up another commitment over the weekend - this time from the state of Mississippi.

Forest Hill offensive lineman Frank Sutton notified Warhawk Nation that they visited and committed to ULM over the weekend.

Sutton picked up an offer from ULM over the summer of 2012 but Warhawks quickly filled up on OL for the 2013 class.

"Coach Applewhite continued to recruit me even though ULM ran out of scholarships for this year", said Sutton.

"I will greyshirt this year and come in undeclared on my major".

Frank will enroll in classes and his scholarship will begin in in the class of 2014 unless a spot opens up from now until then".

The 6'4 290 pound Sutton visited ULM this past weekend and said the Warhawks are bringing him in to play center.

Jacksonville State, Texas Southern, and Alabama A&M all offered full rides but Frank said it was his relationship with Coach Applewhite that made choose the Warhawks.

"Even though ULM was full they never gave up on me. We still talked on a regular basis and that is why I am choosing the Warhawks".
