Kieron Williams fired up about Air Force

Defensive Back Kieron Williams of C.E. Byrd High School (Shreveport, La.) has signed with the Air Force Academy. Look inside for quotes from Williams.

Williams signed an letter of intent accepting a full scholarship from the Air Force Academy on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

"I'm excited to finally sign with Air Force," said Williams. "It's a great opportunity for me to serve my country, play football, and get to attend one of the best academic institutions in the country. I talked with Coach Blane Morgan after I signed. He was fired up."

Williams signed in a morning ceremony at his high school with his family, coaches and some teammates in attendance. The 6-foot, 197-pound safety will first attend U.S. Air Force Academy-Prep School.
