Offers Continuing for Watson

East St. Louis (Ill.) junior linebacker Kyron Watson recently added offer number three.

After recently picking up his first two offers, Kansas and Missouri, East St. Louis High School linebacker Kyron Watson added another this week, his first from within state lines.

"Illinois offered," he reported. "It feels good. The offers are rolling in."

Watson, a hard hitting 6'1, 215-lb prospect, has been a popular guy this spring. Not only have the offered schools come through, but Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and others have been by as well.

Even before he had the Illini offer, Watson had plans to visit Champaign.

"I'm going on March 9th to their junior day and I'm going to their spring game," he said.

Watson also says he was excited to receive an in-state offer, but is still hoping to take his recruitment national.

"It felt good to get one near home, but I want some west coast love."

As a junior, Watson had 142 tackles, three sacks and three interceptions.
