Action heating up for Belleview OL

Ben Jones is a talented offensive line prospect from Belleview High and things are starting to heat up some for him on the recruiting trail.

Ben Jones is a very good offensive lineman at the high school level. He's tough, he's smart, and he really gets after people in the trenches.

Throw in the fact that he's 6-foot-6 and 255 pounds and you can see why he's being considered a legitimate Division 1 offensive tackle prospect. He talked about the latest.

"This past week I was invited to UCF's Junior Day," Jones said. "I have also been getting interest from Indiana and Duke. I have gotten more interest from Missouri, Michigan State and Michigan, you know a lot of the Big 10 teams. I also have been recruited by Miam and some other ACC schools."

Jones, who is still waiting for his first offer, says a few schools jump out to him in terms of hoping which ones come through first.

"I really like Indiana, Duke, and UCF just because they have given me so much interest," he said. "And I also like Wisconsin."

The talented offensive tackle prospect talked about some of the things he'll be looking for later when making a decision for college.

"Academics, the chemistry with the coaches and making sure they will do everything for me to succeed on the field as well as off," he said.
