First in-state offer for Freeman

KeShun Freeman was not expecting to find out about his latest offer on Saturday the way that he did. He got the news from his mother.

Georgia Tech has been showing interest in KeShun Freeman for a while and he was looking to attend one of their spring practices.

His mother called up to Georgia Tech about that and she got some news she had to relay to her son.

"My mom was calling Coach Buzz Preston to as about their spring practices and he let her know that I have an offer from Georgia Tech," Freeman said.

This is the first time his mom knew about an offer before he did, but that doesn't take away from the excitement.

"I am very excited to receive my first in-state offer. I like how Georgia Tech is family-oriented and I like how they make sure their players are completing their work and doing well in their classes."

When asked if this moved the Yellow Jackets to the top of his list, the 6-foot-3, 218 pound linebacker said, "Right now I do not have any favorites. I have seen a lot of things in a lot of colleges and I am doing my research on all of them."

Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Stanford, and West Virginia have also offered Freeman.
