Donnie Alexander, a 6-2, 215-pound linebacker from Edna Karr High School, has joined the LSU Class of 2014, TSD confirmed early Sunday morning.

Alexander becomes the fifth member of the Tigers' next recruiting class, joining tight end Jacory Washington, offensive guard William Clapp, safety Devin Voorhies and cornerback Chris Hardeman.

The Karr linebacker, coming off a 4A state title in 2012, is also a teammate of five-star defensive end Gerald Willis and four-star wide receiver Speedy Noil.
