North Miami DB is one to watch

Bryan Jacques is a talented cornerback prospect from North Miami High, and he talked about the early recruiting process below.

Bryan Jacques played in a talented secondary at North Miami High in 2012 that also featured a Division 1 senior (Troy McCollum - Louisiana).

At 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds, Jacques is one of the top cornerbacks in the area for the 2014 class. He talked about the latest.

"I have been playing a lot of 7on7 and just trying to go out and beter myself and get my name out there," he said.

Without any offers yet, Jacques is still waiting. He talked about some early choices, though.

"I like Florida State, Clemson, Oklahoma State and Florida," he said. "My top one growing up was FSU. They are close to home and they play as a team. Academically they have criminal justice as one of their majors where they are one of the best in the state."

The standout cornerback prospect talked about some of the things he'll be looking for in a school.

"Tradition, where I fit in, and how well I like the school when I visit. Another thing I'll be looking for is as an incoming freshman how will I fit in and compete with the other players will also be important to me."
