"I like Georgie Tech, it's a nice school. The only thing is they run the triple-option, but that doesn't stop my decision really. I love the academics, and I like the fact that it's in Atlanta and it would be a new experience," Young said.
"UCF is great. Their coaching staff is fantastic, I love Coach O'Leary, I love the wide receivers coach, Sean Beckton, and coach Fleming, all three of them. They've been keeping in touch with me ever since the playoffs, and it's just fantastic how they keep showing me love."
"Utah was my first offer. I like the Utah coach because he's been in contact with me over the months. Utah is kind of far, but that isn't too much of a factor. I like Utah and I plan on taking a visit."
"Purdue, they're nice. Academics are very strong at their school, so that's a nice attribute. I need to take my visit up there and see how it is."
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound athlete said when he talks to all these coaches, he gets some good feedback on his game.
"They say they love my size on the field, my size and my speed, and the way I go up and get the ball at the highest point," he said.
Most recently, the 2014 standout visited LSU for junior day and had a great time in Baton Rouge.
"I liked it. I loved the campus. I got to see Les Miles and meet the wide receivers coach. I loved the indoor facilities," he said.
Young said the coaches told him to keep his grades up and stay in touch. Rutgers, Duke, Michigan State, Marshall, and South Carolina are all programs showing interest in the Gainesville standout. Young is hoping to get up to Rutgers in the near future but he may have to wait.
"I was trying to see if I could get up to Rutgers somehow, I was talking to my mom about that. Most likely it won't happen until my senior year," he said.
South Carolina is a likely stop for Young this summer as he hopes to get up to Columbia for camp. For now, he's running track, staying in the weight room, and focusing on his footwork and blocking.
Young doesn't plan to make a decision for awhile, but there are several important factors to him.
"I will be looking for a school with strong academics and a great coaching staff with a lot of experience. I would love for the coaches and the school to have a good connection with my mom, because this is a big decision for her and me. Also a great school atmosphere, stadium and all," he said.
