Bowers Hitting Camps

Bothell (Wash.) 2015 quarterback Ross Bowers broke down his experience at the NLA 7on7 and his spring camp plans…

Bothell (Wash.) 2015 quarterback Ross Bowers stepped straight out of his basketball season into the Las Vegas NLA 7on7 and he felt some rust getting back into the groove.

"Throw by throw I was progressing, I haven't thrown since last football season," said Bowers. "Everybody is clicking and it went well."

Bowers showed off his incredible arm strength and touch on deep passes at the tournament, he was also focused on improving some areas of his game.

"Just being more decisive on my reads, not giving up the ball," said Bowers. "My footwork and mechanics, otherwise just getting better and competing."

Bowers is still waiting on his first offer, but is getting interest from schools everywhere.

"I am getting a lot of questionnaires, weekly," said Bowers. "Washington has been talking to me a lot, they want me to come sit in on a practice and come to their spring game. I have been talking to coach Tuiasosopo and Sark. Other than that nothing too much."

So where will the talented signal caller camp?

"Washington for sure, then maybe a camp back east," said Bowers. "I work out for IMG in Florida with Chris Weinke a good quarterback coach, other than that whatever pops up."
