"I love it at Poly, it feels like home," Woodard said. "I already know a lot of the players since I've been playing 7 on 7 and pop warner with them forever and it's a great school so I'm thankful to be here."
"I went to San Jose State first and that was cool," Woodard said. "They offered me a scholarship and I really like Donte Williams, the DB coach. He's real cool, everybody loves that guy. He showed me some great techniques too and we watched film together. He was at Washington the last few years and we watched some UW film in his office, it was a good time and I liked it there a lot."
Next up for Woodard was a visit to Berkeley.
"That went great too," Woodard said. "I toured the whole campus, met the coaches and watched the scrimmage. It was a great experience. I talked with the whole staff and they were all very welcoming. Coach Stewart, the DB coach said he's coming by my school to check me out so that's cool.
"The campus at Cal really stood out to me and the athletic facilities are incredible. It's really a beautiful place and I fell in love with it instantly. My next visit will be to either Boise State or Wisconsin next weekend but I'm still trying to decide. I'll also be at the NIKE Camp in Oakland next month and I'm looking forward to that for sure."
