Green Keeping Options Open

East Jefferson HS (La) RB Ronald Green (6'0,205) is holding two FBS offers currently after attending camps in June. The senior athlete will attend several other camps this month but plans to keep his options open. Go inside the Cajun Redzone for the rest of the story.

East Jefferson RB Ronald Green holds offers from Houston and Western Kentucky, but promised Coach Rebowe he would attend the Ragin' Cajuns satellite New Orleans camp. Green talked about his camp performance and what is next for the talented senior athlete.

"I wanted to show them that I could catch the ball and work out against some of the top athletes on defense," Green stated. "I thought I performed well and ran well at the camp; I just wanted to do well so that they will continue to watch me this fall. Coach Hudspeth said they want me to keep working hard and they will come watch me this fall during the season."

While the Cajuns didn't offer Green after the camp, he mentioned that Coach Rebowe has stayed in contact with him. With the June camps behind him, Ronald has one more stop planned in July before he focuses on getting ready for the Jamboree in August against West Jefferson.

"I'm going to attend the Southern Miss camp later this month," Ronald mentioned. I've camped at Houston and with UL, but I haven't had the chance to get to one of their camps. The coaches have hinted that if I come down for the July camp that it could open the door for an offer."

With offers from Houston, Western Kentucky and Nicholls State, and interest from Southern Miss, Louisiana and ULM, Green will keep his options open for now.

Ronald Green reported a 17 on his last ACT test, but plans on taking the test again later this month.
