WHAT TO LIKE
On film Watts-Jackson shows solid ball skills and is not afraid of coming up and supporting the run. Has good length with room to add weight and strength. Earned offer from camp performance.
WHAT IS A CONCERN
Spartan fans will question the lack of offer earned by the defensive back and have to trust the staffs evaluation during camp was a look into a player with great upside.
This is another player that showed talent but was being overlooked by many. Much of this could have come from the fact he's light in the pants at 175-pounds.
On film you have to like what you see as we see a player making plays catching the ball at its highest point and showing the ability to cover and get in position to make plays. Does a great job after the catch showing the ability to score and could be looked at as a wide receiver if the need arises down the road.
Watts-Jackson is the type of player Mark Dantonio has built solid defensive backfields with over the years.
