Harris Shines

Eron Harris continued his stellar play in the Pittsburgh Pro-Am Summer League on Monday night.

The rising WVU sophomore poured in a team-high 23 points for The Lair in an 81-73 loss to SPK, but the defeat could hardly be laid at his feet. He scored from all ranges, hitting 8-13 from the field (2-5 from three), while also converting five of his seven tries from the free throw line. He also had five assists and three rebounds while committing three turnovers.

Freshman teammate Devin Williams wasn't as productive, but still managed six points and five rebounds in the contest. He had an assist against three turnovers, and was 2-6 from the field and 2-4 from the line.

Fellow freshman Chase Connor was perfect from the field, making both of his shots, including one from distance, to account for five points. He also grabbed two rebounds and had a turnover.

Oliverio's Peppers, which also features several Mountaineers, had the night off.

Play resumes on Wed., July 10th, but at different venue than the usual Greentree Sportsplex. The Lair will take on PGT at the Mountour Sports Complex at 8:00 p.m., followed by Oliverio's Peppers against UPMC at 9:00.
