2015 Intro: Jimbo Lull

Jimbo Lull, a 6-10 junior center out of Southern California, gives us some early thoughts on his recruitment...

Jimbo Lull, 6-10 JR C Palos Verdes (Calif.) Rolling Hills Prep, is an intriguing young post with soft hands and a nice touch around the basket. While he's just a fair athlete, Lull does have good size and potential.

I spoke with Lull recently and asked about the schools that are recruiting him so far.

"USC, UCLA, Colorado, Stanford, Cal, Columbia and I just got invited to a Syracuse workout," said Lull.

When asked if any schools have offered, Lull replied, "Pepperdine has offered, I forgot to mention them."

Lull said he has taken unofficial visits to USC and Stanford.

"The Galen Center was really nice, I really liked it," said Lull. "It's really cool, a brand new facility. Stanford has a neat campus. I really liked it up there. They took me all around the campus and I got to see everything. I really liked it."

When asked what would be the biggest factors in his decision, Lull replied, "I haven't really thought about it too much. It's still a little early for me. As far as location, it doesn't really matter to me."

When asked if he would make an early decision, Lull said, "I want to wait. I want to take my time and not rush into anything. It's possible I could wait until spring of my senior year."

Lull said he has a 4.0 GPA.
