Dale visits Green Wave

John Curtis Christian 2015 safety Hunter Dale watched the Tulane Green Wave practice over the weekend, and he talks about it inside. Where does Tulane, which was first to offer, stand with this local star?

Hunter Dale has held a Tulane offer since June 2012.

"Tulane was my first offer," Dale said. "I went to today's (Sat.) practice with Malachi Dupre and Mattrell McGraw. Leonard Fournette (overall No. 1 player in the nation) was also there.

"I see a lot of Curtis guys are staying close to home at Tulane. I watched Sherman Badie, Richard Allen and Eric Thomas practice today; I didn't see Brandon Godfrey."

Dale added a couple more thoughts.

"Sherman is an explosive, electric player," he said. "Richard is a great cover corner and fast returner who is good in the return game. Richard did great at practice with only one ball caught on him.

"Tulane is doing a good job of stepping up with Deebo (Darion Monroe) at safety and Tanner Lee, who was slinging it at practice."

Dale remains open as he begins his junior year although Florida and Mississippi State will be tough to beat.

He says Tulane is definitely in the thick of things.

Florida, Miami, Arizona, Arizona State and Mississippi State have all offered.
