Booker on Hawkeyes

2015 athlete Titus Booker of Grayslake North (lll.) took a recent visit to Iowa and recaps it inside.

Although Grayslake North (Ill.) athlete Titus Booker has only been to a few visits, he's starting to enjoy the recruiting process, and his recent trip to Iowa.

"It went well," Booker said. "First we got to take a tour of the facility then we watched practice then got a tour of campus and talked to some of the coaches."

There were several things that particularly impressed Booker on the visit.

"I was very impressed how intense their practice was," Booker said. "And they treated me and my family well and with class, overall it was good."

Booker had a few other things to say about his trip to Iowa City.

"My favorite part was probably watching the practice and seeing how they work," Booker said.

And the Hawkeyes coaches had a few things to say to Booker while he was on campus.

"They want me to keep working hard with academics and they want me to come watch a game sometime," Booker said. "Schools have been telling me they like my speed and that they like me they are just not sure where yet."

Currently, Booker plays running back, wide receiver, cornerback, quarterback and outside linebacker for Grayslake North.
