Hunter Dale Ready for Opener

One of the most sought after prospects from the state of Louisiana checks in at 5-foot-11 and 185-pounds. The 2015 standout defensive back visited Mississippi State and the Florida Gators, two teams that appear at the top to land the Louisiana native.

Hunter Dale checks in from River Ridge (LA) John Curtis Christian School and has worked very hard in the off-season for his junior season which kicks off this Friday night.

"We start this Friday," Hunter Dale said. "I have hit more and studied way more film to get tips on the other teams."

Where do things stand between Dale and the Gators?

"The relationship is great with the coaches," Dale said. "I talk with coach [Travaris] Robinson and coach [Will] Muschamp. I speak to every college that has offered me about the same."

Hunter Dale understands the recruiting process and knows it's a grind but has found it enjoyable for a couple of reasons.

"I like to see and learn about the different colleges and coaches," Dale said.

Keep an eye on Mississippi State and the Gators.
