OCVarsity.com is reporting that Mission Viejo (Ca.) OL Michael Criste has committed to Washington. The talented lineman visited Washington last month and decided recently to make his intentions known.

If the reports are true, Criste would be the 24th commitment to the Husky coaching staff this year and joins O'Dea (Seattle) OL Ben Riva, Bothell (Wa.) OL Colin Porter, Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, Ca.) OL Erik Kohler and Loyola (Los Angeles) OL Colin Tanigawa as the offensive line commitments for the 2010 class that will sign in February.

Washington was Criste's only offer, but he was getting interest from USC, Oregon State, UNLV, Arizona, Arizona State and several other programs as well.

We'll work to confirm if the report is accurate, but at this time it appears to be a legitimate commitment.
