REPORT CARD VS. COLTS:

PASSING OFFENSE: C -- David Garrard passed for 223 yards and three touchdowns, but he threw an interception that ended the Jaguars last drive. The interception came when he overthrew Mike Thomas. He put 31 points on the board, but it wasn't enough because Peyton Manning scored 35.

RUSHING OFFENSE: B plus -- Maurice Jones-Drew ended his drought of four games without gaining 100-yards as he wound up with 110 yards in 27 carries and a touchdown. He also caught five passes for 30 yards and a touchdown.

PASS DEFENSE: F -- The Jaguars didn't get a sack against Peyton Manning, who threw for 308 yards and four touchdowns for a 134.3 passer rating. He threw one interception that went through the arms of Dallas Clark.

RUSH DEFENSE: B plus -- The Jaguars gave up only 58 yards in 22 carries. Joseph Addai was held in check with 59 yards in 16 carries. Except for a 15-yard run, Addai had only 44 yards in 15 carries.

SPECIAL TEAMS: F -- The Jaguars gave up a 93-yard kickoff return to Chad Simpson in the second period that ultimately cost them the game. Simpson wasn't even touched as he found an alley to the left side when Quentin Groves was knocked to the ground at the point of attack after going the wrong way.

COACHING: D -- The coaches continue to have problems teaching the players the right techniques. Mike Thomas lined up in the wrong spot to get a penalty and wipe out an interception. Quentin Groves went the wrong way on a kickoff and it was returned for a touchdown. And Reggie Nelson had terrible technique on the game-winning touchdown catch by Reggie Wayne after missing a point-blank tackle on a previous touchdown catch by Dallas Clark. And Jack Del Rio is now exactly at .500 since the start of the 2006 season - 8-8, 11-5, 5-11 and 7-7. And he was 5-11, 12-4 and 9-7 in his first three so he's four games above .500 in seven years with one playoff victory.
