Scout.com's #19 nationally rated defensive end is relaxing at home during the "dead period" of recruiting. Kaleb Eulls could not be anymore happy to not have the heckling of recruiters in his ears.

"We got out the Friday before last," added Kaleb Eulls. "It feels great to have some peace at home without all of the (recruiting) calls and (home/school) visits. I needed a break from my school work too (laugh). I have just been enjoying the down time, to tell you the truth."

Kaleb participated in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star classic and collected a sack and 5 tackles.

"The experience was great. I got a chance to play with the best players from Mississippi all week, and then we played against the best players in Alabama. It brought my game to a whole another level. I have been playing against the smaller schools my whole career, so it was good to step it up a notch. I also got a chance to get close with some of the guys I already knew and some I had not met yet."

Which players did Kaleb form a bond with that attended the game?

"Bryon Bennett, Taurice King, Devin Clark, Nick Parker, Tyrece McDonald, and Curtis Virges. There were a lot of players I got to know on the trip. It was a lot of fun, great experience."

Eulls has been a rock solid commit for MSU from day one, but he came back from Mobile and told a reporter he would now take some official visits. Those plans have changed.

"No, I have changed my mind about that. I am going to talk to all of the coaches and tell them that I appreciate the chance for me to play for them, but I am going to stick with State. I am just going to thank them for giving me the chance to play there and for recruiting me. I did some more research, and checked out all of the schools, and MSU stuck way out and is unique to me."

Which colleges were trying to get Eulls to come in for a visit?

"The last day before the dead period started Alabama came by (on a Friday). They told me what they had to offer and wanted to see if there was a date I could visit so I could check out their program, but I said thanks but no thanks."
