Scouting Report: Bray is one of Central California's top prospects and he's got a nice, smooth release and good zip on his throws. Sees the field well and has good accuracy and does a great job of going through his progressions. A good athlete. At 6-6, has good height, but is rail-thin and needs to add some serious weight. -- Brandon Huffman, West Recruiting Manager

Commit Date: 1/4/10
Committed Over: Georgia, Miami (Fl), Southern Miss
Scouting Report: Dixon is a speed corner that is a little on the smaller side. He is a very good cover guy because of his recovery speed. He struggles a little with his backpedal, but he is quick enough to recover from that. He can flip the hips well and play nice man coverage. He will need to work on other coverages on the next level because of lack of experience. - South Recruiting Manager Chad Simmons

Breathitt Co (KY)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 6
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 6/19/09
Committed Over: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Purdue, Stanford
Scouting Report: Very productive back who runs with good power. Is a big kid and runs tough. Breaks a lot of tackles and fights for extra yardage. Has above average speed for a big back, but is not likely to be a breakaway threat in college. Has the mentality and tools to be a good lead blocker, but has not been called upon much for this role yet. - Allen Trieu
OG | 6-4 / 310
Homewood-Flossmoor (IL)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 14
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 6/29/09
Committed Over: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, LSU, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue
Scouting Report: Is a tough straight ahead run blocker with good strength and power. Is better in a short area than in space and is best suited for a power running game. - Allen Trieu

Ocean Lakes (VA)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 11
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 1/19/10
Committed Over: Alabama, Clemson, Florida, LSU, North Carolina, Penn State, Virginia
Scouting Report: Hunter may have as much upside as any player in the East region. He has a tremendous frame with a lot of room to grow. Hunter has great speed and outstanding body control. Hunter is a very good athlete and a long strider who seems to run by defenders with ease. Hunter is a deep threat who is also very good in the red zone. He is physical and is not shy about going across the middle of the field to catch a pass. Bob Lichtenfels - Scout.com

Rating:
Pos Rank: 6
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 11/10/09
Committed Over: Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, UCLA, USC
Scouting Report: James is one of the top tackles in the country and he will be a perfect fit at left tackle on the college level. His length, flexibility, and feet have put him in position to be elite. He plays in a spread offense, so his run blocking is a little behind his pass protection. He needs to continue to build muscle and he could play with a little more determination. James has the potential to go a long way. - Chad Simmons - South Region Analyst

North Miami Senior (FL)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 69
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 9/9/09
Committed Over: Clemson, Georgia, Oregon, Purdue
Scouting Report: Size is the first thing that jumps out at you when you look at Meline. He has great length. He is tall and wiry with long arms and that gives quarterbacks a big window to throw the ball into because he has great range. He is a long strider so he is not that quick off the ball, but he really picks up speed as he gets down field and in the open field. Needs to play with some fire, add some weight, and show that he can make plays against top talent.
DE | 6-3 / 231
James F Byrnes (SC)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 14
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 10/4/08
Committed Over: California, Florida State, North Carolina, UCLA
Scouting Report: Long and lean, Miller is a terror off the edge, especially in passing situations. Has a quick first step and gets even with OTs on the snap. Is advanced enough to take advantage of OTs that overcompensate, and really understands leverage in that regard. Is very good against reach blocks (sweep, etc.), primarily because of his length, but he needs to work on condensing gaps against base blocks (inside run, ISO, etc.). Huge upside--Burke Hayes
WR | 7-6 / 208
Mascoutah (IL)
Rating:
Scout300: 119
Pos Rank: 17
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 7/31/09
Committed Over: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Notre Dame, Wisconsin
Scouting Report: Has rare size. What sets him apart from other kids with that size are his athleticism, coordination and speed at that height. He has good acceleration and straight line speed and could be a real deep threat in college. He also has good ability after the catch, able to take short passes and go the distance with them. Relatively inexperienced, he just needs to continue to work on some of the little things, like blocking and route running.
QB | 6-3.5 / 205
Calhoun (GA)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 77
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 1/28/10
Committed Over: Harvard, Mississippi State, UCF, UT-Chattanooga, Vanderbilt, West Virginia
Scouting Report: Nance is an accurate QB with good feet in the pocket and a natural leader. He knows how to control a huddle, he always works hard, and he is easy for players to follow. His accuracy is one of his biggest strength while his arm strength needs to improve. He has worked on that a lot over the past year and it has gotten stronger. This will be the the year for him to showcase his ability in a spread system. - South Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons
RB | 6-11 / 201
Sandy Creek (GA)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 31
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 1/28/10
Committed Over: Cincinnati, East Carolina, Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi State, Southern Miss
Scouting Report: Neal is a back that can run with power behind his pads and he can also be graceful to the edge and get to the corner. He has good leg drive and he is as hard of a worker as you will find. He has good hands out of the backfield, he is an inside/outside back, and he will be an every down back. Still needs to work on his top end speed. He has improved that burst, but he still needs to show that he can outrun fast linebackers and find daylight.
OT | 6-5 / 266
Sumter (SC)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 80
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 6/29/09
Committed Over: Clemson, North Carolina, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt
Scouting Report: Very athletic lineman with a great frame to add weight, though he is many pounds away from becoming a contributor at the BCS level. Well coached and it shows in his technique and balance in both pass pro and run blocking without having to overextend his body. Great vision picking up on stunts keeping aware of the second level. Needs to continue adding strength to his frame as he has to use his height even at the high school level for leverage.

Committed Over: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miami (Fl), Stanford, Texas
Scouting Report: Palardy has one of the most powerful legs we have seen and it is an accurate leg. He can both place kick and punt, his punts hang up in the air forever. He should have 50 yard range on field goals. He is one of the top kickers in the country. -Geoff Vogt
MLB | 6-2 / 215
Hoover (AL)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 39
Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 6/25/09
Committed Over: Alabama, Auburn, LSU, UAB, Vanderbilt
Scouting Report: Plays with good leverage and bend, enabling him to keep his head up, while keeping his hips and shoulder pads in a good position to deliver a blow or stand up a blocker. Has better straight line speed than change of direction. Good instincts and reads the play well putting him in good position to make plays in his zone - Scott Kennedy, Scout.com

Calhoun (GA)
Rating:

Committed to: TENNESSEE
Commit Date: 6/9/09
Committed Over: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, USC, West Virginia
Scouting Report: Rogers is a special talent. He has all the tools to be an elite receiver on the next level. He is built like a linebacker, but he is a smooth athlete that runs well, that has great body control, and he has as much potential as anyone in Georgia. He is a great straightline runner, but needs to improve flexibility. If he puts everything together, then he can be a 2010 signee that plays as a true freshman. - Chad Simmmons - South Recruiting Analyst.

Committed Over: Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Wake Forest
Scouting Report: Smith is the top player in Tennessee and one of the best overall defenders in the country. He could end up at outside linebacker or defensive end in college because of his combination of size and speed. He is best when rushing the passer, but has the size of a linebacker. He is such an explosive player, but needs to use his hands more to get off blocks. - Chad Simmons

Maplewood (TN)

Scouting Report: Stone plays light on his feet and he has the feet to play some right tackle while his build of a better fit for guard. He needs to work on getting a better flat-back and coming off the ball lower. He has a nice first step and he is a guy that can get to the second level because of his mobility. His size gave him a big advantage in high school, but he needs to add strenght, improve his technique, and play with more fire in college. - Chad Simmons
