Crespi Carmelite (CA)
Rating:
Scout300: 196
Pos Rank: 10
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 6/18/09
Committed Over: Arizona State, Boise State, Pittsburgh, UCLA, Washington, Wyoming
Scouting Report: Bennett seems to have an elastic arm, because he can get a surprising amount of velocity without resetting his feet. He's an excellent runner, but he runs to set up his pass first. Meaning, as he's scrambling, he keeps his eyes downfield and only runs once he's exhausted the option of passing. Bennett has an excellent frame and will add some muscle weight once he hits the next level to absorb some of the hits he'll take - Scott Kennedy, Scout.com

Scouting Report: Clanton is one of the best JC tackles in the country. Good size to play either tackle or guard, technically sound and definite toughness make him a potential early impact guy for the Ducks.

Pittsburg (CA
Rating:
Scout300: 231
Pos Rank: 24
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 2/3/10
Committed Over: Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, Utah, Washington, Washington State
Scouting Report: Missed most of season with MCL tear. Punishing hitter who loves to bring the wood. Good coverage skills but more a hitter. Some schools liked him as a running back but he wants to play safety.

Monsignor Pace (FL)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 75
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 10/8/09
Committed Over: Florida International, Mississippi, Oklahoma State, Purdue, South Florida, Syracuse
Scouting Report: Dixon brings a lot of speed and athleticism to the position. He has some experience playing safety but projects as an OLB in college. He has good cover skills for that position but will need to bulk up and add strength so he can take on blockers. -- Mike Bakas

St. Bonaventure (CA)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 54
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 12/9/09
Committed Over: Arizona, Iowa State, Marshall, UCLA, Utah State, Washington
Scouting Report: A slender defensive back, Hill is light on his feet and shows a quick turn of the hips and change of direction in coverage. Despite his size, he is very good at jamming a player at the line of scrimmage while remaining balanced and ready to turn and run. His good jam and quick turn make it tough for receivers to get behind him. He needs to get stronger in the weight room and more physical in run support - Scott Kennedy, Scout.com.

Rating:

Pos Rank: 17
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 1/9/10

Scouting Report: Mathis has elite speed and footwork. Great hips and change of direction as well as closing ability. He has a good feel for the game and does a nice job of recognizing routes and getting the jump. He lacks great size, but has good ball skills. He has to get more physical and improve not only at tackling, but shedding blockers first.
CB | 6-11.5 / 175
Burbank (Luther) (CA)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 33
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 5/27/09
Committed Over: Arizona, California, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington State
Scouting Report: Quick lockdown corner who has strong recovery skills and good arms to break passes up. Will need to add some weight to give him better ability to jam at the line of scrimmage. Still a little on the slight side.
DE | 7-6 / 265
Phoenix (AZ)
Rating:
Pos Rank: JC
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 12/13/09
Committed Over: Georgia State, UCF, Utah State
Scouting Report: Giant defensive end prospect that had his sophomore season cut short because of injury. Has the ability to play inside or outside and could even be an offensive tackle if needed. Has long arms that help him gain seperation and eventually shed blockers. Gives maximum effort on every snap. His size would indicate that he is a run stuffer but he shows the ability to get to the quarterback.
OG | 6-4.5 / 295
Centennial (AZ)
Rating:
Scout300: 109
Pos Rank: 4
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 10/7/09

Scouting Report: Wide bodied prospect that plays with a good base and will finish defenders. Uses excellent size and strength to re-establish the line of scrimmage. Better in a phone booth then in the open field, makes for an excellent guard prospect at the next level.
CB | 6-10 / 180
Central Carolina Sports Acad (NC)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 111
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 9/9/09
Committed Over: Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Ohio, Wake Forest
Scouting Report: A solid hitter and tackler, Scales excels in coverage, but needs to work on his burst and breaking on the ball quicker. Not exceptionally explosive, but can make the big hit.
RB | 6-10 / 183
Temple (TX)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 4
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 1/27/10
Committed Over: Auburn, Baylor, California, Florida, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, UCLA
Scouting Report: Speed and moves and acceleration are what make Lache a truly special player. He does a great job of finding the opening then bursting through the seam and finishing the play. His ability to accelerate so that the defensive player's angle of pursuit is off is truly one of his strengths. In full stride he is hitting three yards a stride and chews up the yardage.
DE | 6-4 / 230
Los Osos (CA)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 57
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 11/1/09
Committed Over: Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado State, Hawaii, Northwestern, Oregon State, UCLA, UNLV, UTEP, Vanderbilt
Scouting Report: Long bodied and still lean, Washington is quick off the edge, but can also drop into coverage. Has good initial burst, and his backside pursuit is top-notch. - Brandon Huffman, Scout.com
DE | 6-5 / 240
Henry D Sheldon (OR)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 5
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 2/29/08
Committed Over: California, Oregon State
Scouting Report: White's got tremendous quickness of the ball, either as a defensive end, his projected position in college, or off the LOS on offense. He's a gifted athlete, who uses his speed to break into the open field. Long term, with defensive end his projected position, he'll need to add some more upper body strength, but his athleticism make him an intriguing two-way player.
TE | 6-4 / 245
Joliet (IL)
Rating:
Pos Rank: JC
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 11/15/09
Committed Over: Baylor, Central Michigan, Toledo
Scouting Report: Big, rangy tight end who should shine in Chip Kelly's offense. Excels with the ball in his hands, can make the tough catch in traffic and not afraid to get hit. Good size should help him bounce off defenders.
RB | 6-11 / 207
Aldine (TX)
Rating:
Pos Rank: 29
Committed to: OREGON
Commit Date: 11/18/09
Committed Over: California, LSU, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Purdue, Texas A&M
Scouting Report: Hard running build with an above average build. Physically he is a man among boys and plays hard. Still has a way to go on development of his running skills but the talent is there. He can catch the ball and act as a wing back if needed, used as a blocking back in high school and a power back also. Smart, vocal leader of his team, does an outstanding job of understanding the play and what is going on with the other team.
