Solid in his drive blocking skills despite a long, lean frame. He does a good job gaining leverage with flexibility in his hips, legs, and back to drive a defender. As an interior defensive lineman, he's learned to play low, and it shows in his blocking. Scott Kennedy, Scout.com.

Rating:
Scout300: 276

Scouting Report: A jumbo offensive guard prospect, Porter has good enough feet that he plays right tackle for his Bothell team. But it doesn't take long to see that he's most passionate about drive blocks and pancaking his opposition. Powerful through his hips and upper body, it's over for a defender if Porter engages him. Needs to work on his change of direction and flexibility in a pulling offense, but overall a running back's best friend - Scott Kennedy

Scouting Report: Coming from a basketball background, Smith is an explosive athlete, but he has a toughness not normally seen in most cross-over athletes. Smith has the type of athleticism to play on either side of the ball. He's a threat to score with the ball in his hands, and he's an aggressive tackler on defense. He needs more experience in reading coverages and better technique, but his athleticism and attitude make him a big-time prospect - Scott Kennedy
