Ole Miss head coach Andy Kennedy isn't shy when assessing his team. By his account, the Rebels comeback win against Alabama was critical in continuing the march toward a spot in the NCAA Tournament. View the video inside.

Three days have passed since Ole Miss' thrilling 74-67 comeback win over Alabama. However, if you ask around, its importance isn't lost throughout the Rebel locker room.

As he addressed the media Tuesday, fourth-year head coach Andy Kennedy recapped the critical conference win, while also looking ahead toward Thursday.

For the second time this season, Ole Miss meets in-state rival Mississippi State.

Thursday's matchup will be broadcast nationally on ESPN at 8 p.m. To open SEC action, Ole Miss fell at home, 80-75, to these same Bulldogs.
