| Madison was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers on April 30, 2006. He was waived at the conclusion of training camp that year before being signed to the Steelers’ practice squad on September 3, where he spent the first three weeks of the regular season. Signed to Pittsburgh’s active roster on October 7, Madison was waived following training camp in 2007. He then signed with Tampa Bay for the first week of the 2007 regular season and then was waived on September 11, 2007. He re-signed with Pittsburgh on October 30, 2007 and was waived on September 5, 2009. Madison saw action in 38 games over three seasons with the Steelers (2006-08), recording 46 special teams tackles. A four-year letterman at the University of Alabama (2002-05), Madison started 37 consecutive games, recording 133 tackles with five interceptions. Born on October 8, 1981, the 5-9, 180-pounder is a native of Thomasville, Ala., where he attended Thomasville High School. |
