The network supports and encourages sharing stories among publishers. Any given story has many audiences on the network beyond just the site of the story’s author. You should take advantage of network stories by placing them on your site when applicable to your site audience.

USING AN OFFSITE STORY ON YOUR SITE
1. Admin
2. Click "modify" in the location where you wish to use the story (Front Page Lead Story, Front Page Secondary Story, etc)
3. Type or paste the STORYID number into the "Specify by [STORYID]:" field
4. Click "Save"
5. Click "view" to preview the story in this location
6. Site > Publish Changes Live

ADDING AN OFFSITE STORY TO YOUR SITE
In addition to place an offsite story on your site, you may wish to add it to your site. Adding an offsite story to your site causes the added story to flow through your site just like any story written on your site. An added story will appear within all archival locations, including the front page and story archive page, along with all stories created by your site. This is a great way to take advantage of story content from experts or national stories of particular interest to your site audience.

1. Admin
2. Stories > Submit an offsite STORYID
3. Type or paste your STORYID
4. Click "Save"

LOCATING OFFSITE STORIES APPLICABLE TO YOUR SITE
RSS is a great tool to receive immediate notification of content applicable to your site or from a national/expert site on the network. See here for a topic directory of RSS feeds.

You should take the feed(s) applicable to your site to receive alerts when there is new content applicable to your site. You can also take the RSS feed from any league/expert site at this URL, by replacing [SITEID] with the actual SITEID.

Note, please follow up directly with PubSupport if you are unfamiliar with RSS feeds and readers.
