Media photos of Steph Curry take a great player and make him look like an emo album cover

We could spend time talking about what a great player Steph Curry is, or whether or not he's healthy, but I'd prefer to make jokes about emo and indie rock record covers.

Stephen Curry is a mystery. He's a dichotomy. An elusive figure in the NBA's modern landscape.

On the one hand you've got an unbelievably talented player who has won two MVPs. You've got the leader of the team that has now set the record for the most regular season wins in the history of the NBA. You've got Steph Curry, the man who stared down injury and adversity in the playoffs to enable his team to make a second straight appearance in the nBA finals.

On the other hand, you've got a guy who should be known for his distant stares ... his contemplative glances as he ponders the mysteries of the world, politics, and most importantly girls as he chews oh-so-delicately on his mouthpiece.

Is Steph Curry a humble superstar or is he the greatest emo cover model in the history of indie rock? I submit to you that he just might be both.

You may be asking yourself: This is how WFNY spends their time waiting for the Cleveland Cavaliers to tip off against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals? The answer: A definitive yes.
