Every time Cleveland Cavaliers point-forward LeBron James makes an NBA Finals appearance (which has been six straight seasons now), he awards his teammates with a personalized gift at some point during the series. For this year's version of his gift, the 31-year-old gave each of his 14 teammates a set of customized gold-accented Beats by Dre headphones Saturday night, as seen in Cavs forward Richard Jefferson's snapchat.
The headphones had "East 2016" etched on the outside to celebrate the Cavaliers Eastern Conference championship this season and a special message on the inside, stating, "You have worked, trained, and dreamed of this moment. It's your time now."
James, who is an investor for Beats by Dre, gave the gift to each of his teammates during a team meal at a restaurant on a San Francisco pier. With two days off between Games 1 and 2, the team had plenty of time to not only watch film and practice, but also hangout together and continue to build their chemistry together, both on and off the court.
While the wine and gold seemed to have enjoyed themselves Saturday night, they will be all about business Sunday night, looking to tie up the series at one before they return home to Quicken Loans Arena for Games 3 and 4.
