Since the last update the Falcons beat #12 New Mexico in a shocker, got run off the floor by the Running Rebels of UNLV after losing Mike Lyons to injury and sat at home watching the news in disbelief as the NIT selection committee snubbed the Falcons.

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - Air Force's offense isn't all that complicated _ lots of back-door cuts, screens and motion. Defending it, well, that's a little more challenging. UNLV knew exactly what was coming, but still couldn't stop it.

The weight of a new reality did indeed hold down the Air Force Falcons, precisely when this team was just about to fly to Bracketville. The Falcons' wings can't be loaded down with pressure. This team has to attack UNLV – and the next month – with a mentally liberated outlook.

Losing at New Mexico is not a problem for the Air Force Falcons. Losing to the Nevada Wolf Pack, on the other hand, would give Dave Pilipovich a massive headache. The problem for Air Force is that Nevada is a better team than it was a month ago.
