NAME: Joseph Champaign

POSITION: DL

CLASS: JR

HT/WT: 6-1, 240

OVERVIEW: Champaign started in eight games in 2012 and played in nine. The four games he missed was due to injury. He finished the season with 24 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks along with 3 1/2 tackles for losses. Champaign came up big with two of his tackles for losses in the win over Hawaii. He had five tackles at Army and against Idaho State.

PROJECTION FOR 2013: Likely starter. Champaign along with Alex Hanson gives Air Force a strong presence in the interior defensive line.
