COMMENTS

Colgate got off to a rough 1-3 start in 2012 but won seven of its last eight contests to finish 8-4 and earn a bid to the NCAA FCS tournament. Colgate returns all its receivers and starting QB Gavin McCarney who passed for over 2,300 yards and 15 TDs against eight interceptions. However, the offense loses all but one offensive lineman. On defense the Raiders should be improved. They lose just three starters, a linebacker, a lineman and a safety.
