2-star RB likes Falcons

An outstanding running back who was selected to the AP Dream Team likes the Falcons and has an offer.

TheInsiders.com received an update from Vancouver (Wash.) Mountain View ATH James Day, and it appears that Air Force has a decided edge over the competition. "I have been in heavy contact with the Air Force Academy, and I am somewhat thinking of heading in that direction," James said. "If I chose to attend Air Force I would go to the prep school for a year leaving me a spot to leave and still retain my four years of eligiblity if I decided it wasn't for me. As for the other schools in contact with me, Portland State is still heavily talking to me, Oregon has asked me to walk on and Washington has been in very little contact with me. I'm planing on using up my five trips before I make my decision."

There's also a good chance Day may walk on to play baseball wherever he goes. "If I have the season I had last year, where I hit .523 and led the league in home runs, I may just chose to play on the dimond as well as the gridiron."
