Travis Wittick picks Air Force

Travis Wittick, a standout safety for the storied Mission Viejo High School football program in Southern California has committed to play for the United States Air Force Academy.

The 2002 All-South Coast League selectee picked the Falcons over several Ivy League schools, UC-San Diego and UC-Davis. Wittick, (5-11, 185), was also selected to the 2002 All-CIF Southern Section (Division II) Team.

Mission Viejo, who is coached by Bob Johnson, finished the 2002 season 14-0 and won the CIF Championship.

Wittick finished the 2002 season with 3 interceptions.
