First Offer For Ohio Junior

One of the more unknown junior prospects in Ohio is Toledo Central Catholic tailback/linebacker Paul Moses. This top 2014 prospect just landed his first offer this past week.

Toledo Central Catholic junior tailback Paul Moses is having an impressive season for the Saints, and the 5-foot-11, 200-pound, athlete is starting to hit the recruiting radar.

"I was offered by Nebraska this week," Moses stated. "It was a big surprise and I was so happy, because I never really thought this could happen to me. I like Nebraska a lot, and I know they are a great program. They are disciplined and they have a great coaching staff. I'm very interested in Nebraska."

Even though Nebraska is his only offer to date, Moses has been invited to games by other top programs.

"I'm been invited to go to games at Illinois, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Akron and Toledo, but I haven't been to any games yet," he said. "I'm focused on trying to win a state championship, and I'm not really concentrating on the recruiting stuff just yet."

"My favorite school would be LSU, and that's who I root for," Moses added. "I'm interested in every school really, because it's so soon for me in recruiting. I've also rooted for Ohio State, being from Ohio."

His film shows a player that impresses on both sides of the football, and Moses admitted he does have a preference.

"I play tailback and linebacker, and I like playing both sides of the football," he explained. "I like playing offense better, but I will do whatever my coaches ask me to do. I'm working on getting faster, and I'm a player that will continue to work hard in the off-season to get better."

For the season to date, Moses has rushed for over 500 yards, with 12 touchdowns.
