Volunteer Coach For Tide Tennis

Weinacker, a native of Birmingham, was an accomplished player for North Carolina State from 2005-2009. He finished his career as the school's record holder in career singles victories with 106, as well as being tied for the school record with 87 doubles wins.
As a freshman, he led the Wolfpack in singles victories with 23. The next year he helped NC State make a run to the Elite Eight of the 2007 NCAA Championship for the first time in program history. Weinacker qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championship in 2008 and the NCAA Singles Championship in 2009. He reached the Round of 16 in the Singles Championship, earning All-America honors for his performance and finished the year ranked No. 33 in the nation.
Weinacker garnered numerous awards throughout his career. He was a two-time winner of the ITA/Arthur Ashe Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship for the Mideast Region. In addition, he was an All-ACC honoree his junior and senior seasons, in which he also served as the Wolfpack captain. Weinacker was a solid performer in the classroom as well, being named an Academic All-ACC performer.
In addition to serving as a volunteer assistant at Alabama, Weinacker is also the assistant pro at Pine Tree Country Club in Birmingham.
