Tide Outfielder Pre-Season Honoree
In 2010, Dugas led the Crimson Tide with a .395 batting average and was named a First Team All-American by Baseball America, following his sophomore season. Dugas started all 67 games in center field for Alabama, which came up one win shy of making the College World Series.
In addition to leading the Tide in batting average, the left-handed centerfielder led the team in runs scored (70), triples (5) walks (59), on-base percentage (.525), and stolen bases (19), while finishing second on the squad with 96 hits and 15 doubles.
Alabama begins the 2011 campaign at Sewell-Thomas Stadium on Friday, Feb. 18, with the first game of a three-game series against Alcorn State.
