Malcolm Mitchell back from Tuscaloosa

Malcolm Mitchell has narrowed his list down to Alabama and Georgia and he will announce his decision later this week. His official visit to UA was a good one and he talks about it here.

Malcolm Mitchell is a four-star athlete out of Valdosta, Ga. and he has narrowed his list down to Alabama and Georgia.

He visited Georgia the weekend of December 12 and he visited Alabama this weekend. It was his fourth time in Tuscaloosa and he enjoyed it as usual.

"The best part of my visit this time was either hanging out with the players or spending time over at Coach [Nick] Saban's house," said Mitchell.

Coach Saban is a coach that has impressed Mitchell from the beginning. Mitchell likes Saban and Saban likes him too.

"When talking to Coach Saban, he makes me feel like I am important to this class," said the 6-foot, 185 pound speedster.

Alabama has offered the Scout100 prospect as a corner and winning ways give them a real shot here.

"I really like their will to win and just that they are a great school. That is what I like most about Alabama."

When asked if anyone has the edge leading up to his decision on Thursday night, Mitchell said no.

His decision is expected to come this week on Thursday January 20 at some time after 7pm. He plans to announce his decision on a radio station in Valdosta.
