Yankees GM Talks about Tide

New York Yankees Senior Vice President, General Manager Brian Cashman was the featured speaker at the January Middlesex County (Conn.) Chamber of Commerce monthly breakfast. ‘BAMA Magazine/BAMAMAG.com interviewed the 14-year Yankee executive about two former University of Alabama players.

David Robertson, a 17th round 2006 MLB draft choice, is currently a relief pitcher establishing a reputation for reliability with the "Bronx Bombers". He appeared in 64 games last season compiling a 3.82 ERA pitching 61.1 innings.

Andy Phillips, once a utility infielder for baseball's most successful franchise, was named an assistant coach for the Crimson Tide in December. His primary duties will be as a hitting and infield coach.
