Recruitment: Ragland gave an early commitment to the University of Alabama. He gave his verbal pledge in December with a host of other scholarship offers. He is a solid commitment.

Ragland on committing to Alabama, "I just knew Alabama was right for me. They really sold it for me. I love Alabama's defense. They always play fast. They play together. The coaches told me they want me to play linebacker."
