Bone's Best: Caleb Gulledge

Andrew Bone takes a closer look at the Top 60 players in the state of Alabama prior to the 2011 season.

18. Caleb Gulledge
Scout.com three-star
No. 52 defensive end
Prattville High School
6-foot-4, 280-pounds

2010 stats: Gulledge played on the offensive and defensive line for the Lions. He had 40 pancake blocks playing right tackle.

Recruitment: Gulledge committed last October to the Crimson Tide. He had scholarship offers from Kentucky and South Alabama at the time. Several schools were interested during the spring, but Gulledge is solid with his commitment.

Head Coach Jamey DuBose, "There's potential from him to play on either side of the ball. If he continues to grow and reaches 6-7 I could easily see him playing offensive tackle in college. He's got excellent footwork, all the physical attributes you look for, and moves well from side-to-side."
