2010 stats: Hankins led his team with 103 tackles, 89 solo, 14 assists, 23 tackles for a loss, three sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, four pass breakups and three blocked punts.

Recruitment: Hankins has picked up scholarship offers from Arkansas State, Florida International, Purdue, South Alabama, Southern Miss and UAB.

Hankins says, "My biggest strengths as a linebacker are my ability to come down hill against the run and check the running backs. I would like to improve my ability to get off blockers faster. I want to improve my lateral movement. I want to work on my flexibity and ability to run through blockers better."
