Bone's Best: Eli Williams

Andrew Bone takes a closer look at the Top 60 players in the state of Alabama prior to the 2011 season.

60. Eli Williams
Running back
Pleasant Grove
6-foot-1, 197

2010 stats: Williams rushed for 826 yards and 12 touchdowns in only seven games.

Recruitment: Williams is seeking his first scholarship offer, and the speedster should turn some heads this fall with his size and speed. He likes the in-state SEC schools along with Clemson and Tennessee, among others.

Williams says, "Middle Tennessee said they want me. They said they are going to get in contact with my coach about an offer. They told me they are going to offer me. Tennessee, Mississippi State, Arkansas State, JSU, Southern Miss, Auburn and Clemson are all showing a lot of interest in me as well. I went to the Middle Tennessee and JSU camp. I plan on going to Tennessee and Auburn."
