Justin Taylor dicusses commitment status
"The camp was great," said Justin Taylor. "Everything was great. I got to meet new people. I met some of the other commitments. It was great to be with those players.
"I went down there with Brandon Greene. I met Landon Collins. He didn't commit, but we are trying to get him. It was great. Everyone has a good head on their shoulder. Everyone got along. Everyone was cool."
Taylor spent three days in Tuscaloosa and worked out Sunday and Monday at the camp.
"It was great to work out with coach Burns," he said. "Some of the things I need to work on he told me. I did everything he wanted me to do. It was a great feeling to have to get a feeling of how it will be when I get there.
"I talked to coach Saban while I was there. He was catching up on some things. He was telling me about the running back game and how things will be when I get there."
The Tide commitment had previously discussed taking visits to Georgia and South Carolina. He is singing a different tune after his time at the Capstone.
"I don't plan on taking any trips," said Taylor. "I am 100-percent committed. When I was at the camp I realized that's my school. I had a great feeling after spending time there. It made me want to stay solid with my commitment.
"I am going to as many games as possible this fall. I saw some of the team when they were working out and doing 7-on-7. They look great. I think they have a chance to win it all this year."
