2014 OL shines at camp
"I went to Alabama this week," said Rodrick Taylor. "I was just over there for a day. Everything went really good. I enjoyed it."
"I worked out at left tackle. I thought it was a great camp. I loved working out with the offensive line coach. He told me I had a great performance."
Taylor drew praise from Alabama head coach Nick Saban.
"Coach Saban came up to me after working out," said Taylor. "He told me he was impressed and couldn't believe I was going in the 10th grade. He said I look like I've already had a lot of experience. He said they are going to keep an eye on me."
The 6-foot-4, 305-pound prospect has a lot of interest in the Tide program.
"I like Alabama," he said. "I think it's a good school. I like the way they run their program. They have good facilities. I might get up there for a few games this fall.
Taylor noted Alabama, Ole Miss and Mississippi State as favorites very early in the recruiting process.
