It Really Is New Volleyball Season
Friday will mark the season and home opener for the 2011 Alabama volleyball season when the Crimson Tide hosts the Bama Bash at Foster Auditorium. Foster Auditorium has been restored to what new Head Coach Ed Allen calls the nicest facility in the nation for volleyball.
The Tide will play Alabama State in the first match of the tournament with first serve for the women scheduled for Noon. The match is being promoted as "Come have lunch at Foster and enjoy Alabama Volleyball."
Alabama will continue Bama Bash play against Austin Peay at 7 p.m. Friday and against Texas State at 7 p.m. Saturday.
With the move to Foster Auditorium, parking will be very limited for those attending volleyball matches this season. Fans are encouraged to park in the Coleman Coliseum parking area and walk to Foster Auditorium. Handicap parking will be located in the lots surrounding Foster Auditorium.
